OneHealth is a community of individuals with diverse ideas, opinions, and approaches to achieving better health. Members are equally respected, regardless of their preferred approach. We work very hard to offer an environment where members are able to express their opinions, while respecting the rights of others to express theirs. We understand that opinions vary, and that people often disagree. We ask that members remain open to differences, and identify with similarities. OneHealth is largely self-regulated. Members are encouraged, by OneHealth staff and trusted peers, to regulate their own conversations, actions and presence on the site.
Members of the site can report content that they find objectionable or offensive by sending a support ticket to the OneHealth team. A Terms of Service guides the Customer Service Department’s individual responses to each of these incidents. Responses are direct and confidential to the parties involved.
OneHealth offers a Block Users feature in Settings so members can block individual users and therefore filter comments that may be upsetting.
When you first log in to OneHealth, you will be presented with 28 options to describe how you're feeling. Simply pick the closest emotional state to the one that you're feeling at that moment. As your emotional state changes, you may change your emoticon.
Set/Update Emoticons
On your Profile page, click on your current emoticon. The Emoticon Panel will appear. Click on the emoticon that best represents your current emotional state.
Aura Colors
Green: Green represents a good mood. Happy, grateful, calm, determined, hopeful, love-struck, and strong have green halos.
Yellow: Yellow is associated with moods that represent a moderate risk such as afraid, bored, distressed, guilty, irritable, lonely, misunderstood, needy, restless, sad, and tired.
Red:
Red represents emotions that may indicate someone is at high risk and needs support. When members check in with cravings, or feelings of anger, anxiety, being ashamed, pain, depression, obsession, and resentment, the red halo alerts other members that their friend needs help.
Blogs are the place to publicly share personal experiences, thoughts, ideas, activities and more. Expressing your thoughts and reading those of others helps build stronger communities. You can publish a blog to one of your specific communities. You can also view the most recent and trending blogs in any of your communities.

Please Note: By publishing a blog, you are sharing it with your OneHealth friends and with the specific community in which you choose to publish. You may use the Journal feature if you want to keep your thoughts private.

Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and structured online meetings and group chats for you to connect, share, and thrive. Our most important chat guideline is simple:
The chat guidelines provide helpful tips and an overall understanding of how the chat room functions while participating in the OneHealth chat rooms. If you have any questions about these instructions or anything on the OneHealth platform, please contact Customer Service at support@onehealth.com.

Once in the chat room, you may allow others to view your webcam and listen to you share, select enable A/V

A personal message is directed to a member, but visible to the entire chat room. To send a personal message, click the member’s name and select “Personal/Whisper Message” option. Next to the chat text field, you now have two ways to send your message, “Send” and “Whisper.” Select “Send” to send your personal, but public, message.
A Whisper is only visible to you and the member you’re sending it to. To Whisper to another member, click on their name and select the “Personal/Whisper Message” option. Next to the chat text field, you now have two ways to send your message, “Send” and “Whisper.” Select “Whisper” to send your private message.
If you’ve become annoyed by other members, block them. By blocking other members, you won’t have to read any of their messages. To block a member, click on their name and select the “Block Member” option. To unblock the member, click their name and select “unblock.”

Online meetings follow similar guidelines as face-to-face meetings. There is a meeting host, and the host will lead the meeting. Please respect the host and all meeting attendees. Once you are in the meeting, click on the host's camera (camera icon is located to the right of the member’s name). Please stay on topic, unless it's an open topic meeting, or the host has approved off-topic shares.
There are two ways to share in an online meeting:
To type your share, type “@type” when the floor is open for sharing (i.e. no other members are sharing). Please wait for the host to indicate that the floor is yours before starting your share. Type “pass” when you are finished sharing.
To speak your share, type “@talk” when the floor is open for sharing (i.e. no other members are sharing). Please wait for the host to indicate that the floor is yours before talking. Prior to speaking, type “click on me” to let others know that they will need to click on your cam icon to hear your share. Type “pass” when you are finished.
If someone types “@talk”, please click on the cam icon next to their name to hear their share. Please make sure your own microphone is muted to avoid squeal/feedback. To mute your mic, hover your mouse over your picture in the lower right corner and click the mic icon.

Please refrain from crosstalk during shares. Some examples of crosstalk are:
Typing in the middle of a member’s share.
Whispering during a member’s share. Meetings are for participating and listening. Whispering is distracting to you and the person you’re whispering to. Please refrain from whispering during meetings. You can use the Whisper feature in General Chat. Greeters are the only members who should use the Whisper feature in meetings. If you absolutely need to get information about the topic, who is sharing, or how to share, use the Whisper feature. But, please be respectful and use it sparingly.
Talking during a member’s share.
Prior to signing up to host a meeting, please attend several online meetings to experience and learn about host conduct. As a meeting host, you will be responsible for the topic, maintaining order during the meeting, and a quick review of meeting guidelines. It is also helpful to designate someone to be a Greeter in your meeting.
The Greeter is responsible for letting members in general chat know a meeting is happening and guide them to the correct room. The Greeter is also responsible for welcoming latecomers, informing them of the topic, letting them know who is sharing or if the floor is open, and general guidelines about sharing in meetings. The Greeter’s tool is the Whisper feature. Assigning a Greeter helps the meeting flow smoothly and is a great way to be of service.
The Support Module alerts you to friends who may need support or who have achieved milestones. Click the member's photo to write on their wall, send them a private message, or congratulate them on a milestone.

Complete your profile with basic info like name, address, gender, relationship status, and sexual orientation. You may share this information with your friends and communities, but you're not required to do so. You may keep this information private by setting your Privacy Settings to "Me."

You may crop the photo by clicking on the corners of the photo to resize. Once you're happy with the look of the photo, click "Save." You will now see the image in your Profile.

OneHealth got a facelift! The plastic surgeon (our graphic designer) updated our look and feel. While we were at it, we cleaned up our user interface so that it's faster and easier to engage with other members.
There are some things we're still working on, so you might not see those things on the site just yet. But they are coming. Don't fret, all the tools you had before are still there… and there are some better ones to come.
So, for the new site, here's the information around how things have been improved.
Meetings
You won't see your meetings schedule or the meeting finder right now. We've saved your schedule, so once we get it on the new site… nothing will be different on your schedule. The Meeting Finder is in the works as well. We'll have a new and improved Meeting Finder for you, so it will be easier to find convenient 12-Step meetings near you.
Goals
We are significantly improving the Goals feature on OneHealth. We've been gathering valuable research from top leaders in the behavioral health field to introduce a comprehensive Goals feature for you. Please be patient while we work to finalize the Goals engine, and we'll let you know when we're ready to launch it. Thanks.
Achievements
We are currently updating the Achievements feature on OneHealth. We have saved all your Achievements, so when we introduce the updated Achievements all of your hard work will be there. Thank you for being patient. The updated Achievements are coming soon.
One-to-One Chat
One-to-One Chat is coming soon. As we were upgrading our Chat capabilities, we wanted to make sure One-to-One Chat was done right… so that feature is still being built… but it won't be gone long.
How do I know if someone's online?
At first, you won't. But soon you'll see indicators to show when another Member is on OneHealth and you'll be able to initiate One-to-One Chat with that Member when you see they're online.
